Jackie Urra, RA, MBA
Jackie has over 15 years of professional experience in residential, commercial and institutional work in New York City, Nyack and the Hudson Valley. Prior to that she led various family projects over the course of 10 years in NYC, Maine, Tuxedo Park, NY and Windham, NY.
In part inspired by the architecture of Tuxedo Park and the Cottages of Islesboro, Maine, Ms. Urra earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture at The City College of the City University of New York (CCNY) in 2006 after a career change prompted by a desire to make worthy contributions to the built environment beyond family projects. Her previous career as a management consultant and early software entrepreneur in the publishing industry started with a Master in Business Administration degree in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business (NYU). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut
Jacqueline Urra is a Registered Architect in New York since 2011, a Registered Design Professional with New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) since 2014; a Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA); a Certified Member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB); a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD) since 2020; and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009.
